Brief Introduction:

The Government of Kenya has mandated KenGen to seek a Joint Venture Partner who will develop together with KenGen:

(i) A 300MW capacity Coal-Fired Plant under a 25 year Build Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT) arrangement; and

(ii) Port landing facility under a 30 year concession arrangement to be awarded by the Kenya Ports Authority.
